Cameron Blaylock grew up in Houston, studied studio art at Bauhaus University in Weimar, and lives in New York City. His work explores the relationship between people, infrastructure, and the everyday spaces of the built environment, often through long-term, place-based projects. He works as a freelance photographer and has been commissioned by the Brooklyn Museum, the Menil Collection, the Poetry Society of America, and the Rockefeller Foundation. His photographs have appeared in The Believer, Failed Architecture, New York Magazine, Paper, and elsewhere. He is available for editorial and commercial projects.
